ABOUT US

The Friends of Alouette, International is an independent, grassroots and all-volunteer, non-sectarian group of parents, teachers and dedicated volunteers, vitally interested in providing educational opportunity to every child. Incorporated in CA in 2003, we received status as a 501(c)(3) public charity in Sept. 2004. We ensure that every donation benefits the children we serve.

In partnership with:

the Alouette Foundation of the Philippines, (AFP),
http://www.alouetteong.fr/
and the Philippine Tribal Schools, (PTS),
http://www.philippinetribalschools.weebly.com

we support five Educational Assistance Programs and two schools, enabling 600 very disadvantaged children to go to school.  We also support a Centre for Abused Girls in Palawan and college students in Guatemala and East Timor. We have local projects with NJ nonprofits, public and private educational institutions like the New Jersey Technology Council, the Filipino American Association of Central NJ, Hopewell Valley Schools, Randolph Twshp Schools, and the Trenton CYO as well as individual volunteers, encouraging dynamic partnerships between our donors and beneficiaries, thus benefiting all participants. Our office is in Pennington, New Jersey.

Our Vision is Educational Opportunity for Every Child. We have local, national, and international projects, and initiate projects  anywhere we have a committed volunteer who can oversee it directly for us.

Our Mission is to support the education of as many of the world’s disadvantaged children (and their families!) as our ever-growing network of volunteers can reach.  We work in the Philippines, Guatemala, E. Timor, the US Gulf and Trenton, NJ! We invite you to join us! More info
